Agadir: Taroudant and Tiout Cultural Day Trip

The excursion sets off from Agadir towards Taroudant, a walled town in southern Morocco known locally as the "Little Marrakech" for its red ramparts and traditional souks. Inside the old medina, visitors walk through narrow lanes lined with stalls selling handicrafts, spices and textiles, and can see the historic city walls and traditional Moroccan architecture that give the town its character. From Taroudant, the trip continues to Tiout, a Berber village set at the edge of the Anti-Atlas mountains. A walk through the village's palm oasis reveals date palms, small plots of cultivated land and glimpses of rural life. The Kasbah of Tiout stands above the oasis and offers views over the palm groves and surrounding countryside. Throughout the day, travellers spend time in communities away from Agadir's main tourist areas, learning about Berber and Moroccan traditions directly from local residents.
